Watch Sammus’ Rap Video About Anxiety and Get Inspired!

“Hey brain…
We should talk
About some things…
We’re on the rocks”

Those are the first set of things that you hear with the pulsating beat that ushers in Sammus‘ rap. Everything about the video hits home! From the lines describing the cognitive dissonance that comes with Anxiety – between who you know you are (according to potential coursing through your mind and heart) and the person you’ve been manifesting, which is way below your potential.
Nighttime is the precise video for any creative to get off their ass and get shit done.

“Check your email
No more pouting
Plan the details
Of your album
Get those presales
Sell four thousand
10 bucks retail”

Those lines killed it for us! You should totally listen/watch it.
Asides from the lyrics and the beat, the visual art that comes with the video is something that also made us fall head over heels in love with the overall ambience of the video.
