Fifteen years ago, a bold idea was born to give African fashion the global platform it deserved. What started as a passion project by Queen Ronke Ademiluyi-Ogunwusi has now become the world’s largest African fashion showcase: Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL). In 2025, the celebration continues louder, prouder, and bolder.

Africa Fashion Week London (AFWL) returns August 9–10, 2025, for its landmark 15th anniversary, bringing two unforgettable days of style, culture, and celebration to the heart of London.

As the world’s biggest showcase of African and African-inspired fashion, AFWL has grown into a global movement that champions heritage, empowers Black creatives, and celebrates African excellence in design. This year’s event promises to be even more spectacular, with:

  • Witness four unforgettable catwalk showcases where African and diasporic designers will present bold, story-driven collections.

  • Immerse yourself in the Adire Festival, where the heritage of Yoruba textile artistry is reimagined for a modern audience.

  • Shop and connect with over 30 fashion, beauty, and lifestyle exhibitors from sustainable brands to legacy artisans.

  • Fuel your senses with food, fashion talks, live performances, and powerful conversations about heritage, identity, and innovation.

Whether you’re a designer, creative, fashion enthusiast, or simply curious, AFWL offers a unique space to explore, connect, and celebrate African identity through fashion.

This year’s theme is “Heritage in Motion”, a look at how African traditions evolve, inspire, and shape the future. Grab your ticket here and have access to the exhibition halls, cultural experiences, and food court. Whether you come for the fashion, the culture, or the creativity, you’ll leave inspired. Be part of this historic celebration.
