HemingwayDesign is looking for a Senior Event Curator and Creative Producer who will be responsible for the overarching curatorial narrative, artistic direction and creative production of all projects in HemingwayDesign events and festival portfolio, including Urban Village Fete, Sample, The Drops and The Classic Car Boot Sale.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying diverse artists, content and creative programme ideas that support the vision for each event and grow and engage our audiences.
  • Developing curatorial themes and programming orientated around current debates in social issues and contemporary arts and culture.
  • Ensure the event curation, programming and creative production responds and contributes creatively to client briefs and strategies.

You will manage the Events Co-ordinator and report directly to HemingwayDesign partners. You will be deeply immersed at every stage of a project, liaising with all departments in the studio. Often projects will include working closely with designers, copywriters, photographers, illustrators, marketing agencies and social media teams both in house and externally.

Eligibility: Several years of events industry experience is preferred, but we prioritise talent and personality over experience.

What you get: Salary dependent on experience and skills; four weeks paid holiday plus all public holidays; the business operates a four-and-a-half-day week during the summer months of July and August; We have two full-time office dogs.
