The Griffin Museum of Photography hosts multiple open call for exhibitions all entry year-round, offering exciting visibility within our community.
Entrants are considered for unique opportunities, including exhibition prizes, Director’s selections, special acquisition opportunities, and exclusive partnerships with leading photography publications.

Prospectus: Places hold stories, some visible, others buried. We often photograph locations unaware of what has transpired there. How can your work reveal what once was, what still lingers beneath the surface? This is an open call for images that carry a powerful sense of history or memory, interpreted through political, creative, personal, or familial lenses.

The Griffin Museum of Photography is a nonprofit organization dedicated solely to the art of photography. Through our many exhibitions, programs and lectures, we strive to encourage a broader understanding and appreciation of the visual, emotional and social impact of photographic art. At the Griffin Museum, you will find exhibitions from well-known photographers to those emerging on the scene that explore important themes and thought-provoking ideas. All of our exhibitions and programs are designed to encourage the passionate exploration of the art of photography. We are considered an epicenter for photography and have a reputation as a leader and pacesetter for an international photographic community.

Submission Guidelines:
Submit your work via CaFÉ (CallForEntry)
Prepare images that tell a compelling story; series of 3–5 photos are recommended.
Include a brief artist statement explaining how your work connects to the theme.
