Call for Application : Digital Fashion Residency

Are you a Fashion entrepreneur, creator and/or a University students looking to create innovative digital fashion products and experiences and collaborate with international peers? Then, this is for you!

In collaboration with Ravensbourne University, The Assembly has designed the DSFWD four-month residency program to build the capacity and competitiveness of fashion creators and entrepreneur.

The goal is to showcase cross-cultural design across African fashion creatives.

It will also highlight how these creatives are embracing the versatility of digital design to increase efficiency and decrease waste.

 

This program will set you up with:

– Training support facilitated by a global Faculty of thought leaders and creative industry practitioners

– Access to an international community of innovative creators

– Digital infrastructure for the duration of the program

 

Who we are;

The Assembly is a community and platform for ambitious young talent, entrepreneurs, professionals and creatives in the fashion industry.

We unite creativity and entrepreneurship by providing physical and virtual (URL + IRL) business, creative and professional support.

 

Who we are eager to see;
This is a first of its kind, and the residency is eager to see:

 

For Fashion Entrepreneurs

– Fashion creatives running a commercially viable creative practice or brand

– Be a national of any country in West Africa

– Must have been operating a fashion business or individual practice for 2-5 years

– Must possess experiential knowledge of the African-global market

– Must be experienced in developing collaborative work briefs

– Must be available to participate in full for the entire duration of the programme (13 weeks)

Entrepreneurs Apply here

For 3D Digital Creators

– Skilled in the use of design software such as Clo3D, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite.

– Be a national of any country in West Africa

– Must have been in existence for 1-5 years

– Must possess experiential knowledge of the African-global fashion market

– Must be experienced in developing -collaborative work briefs

– Must be available to participate in full for the entire duration of the programme (13 weeks)
