It’s crazily unreal to stumble on the creators of the work that you’ve known for years. It’s one of the headiest, speechless feelings you can get – that feeling of unrealness! So when I found Sarah Rebar, Illustrator at Sesame Street via Meet The Creatives podcast, I was in awe. Her art is so character driven, as she makes her drawings of the inner personalities of the phenomenon she is creating. You can literally imbibe the mental qualities and dispositions distinctive to each character she draws. Currently based in New York, Sarah Rebar works for Sesame Street in their art department, making character art and new styles for apps, digital games, storybooks, licensing, and the TV show. She values storytelling and a good sense of humor and always wants people to smile when they see her work.
Sarah works with programmers, animators, and researchers to design digital content and is the Artist for “Elmo’s World” animated game segments on the TV show.
She is currently drawing characters for the 100 Day Project and showcasing them on her Instagram Account.
