The amazing Cécred and BeyGOOD Foundation have teamed up once again to launch the second iteration of the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund which is making major moves to uplift the beauty industry and honor the salon heroes shaping our communities. This year, they’ve committed a fantastic $500,000 to expand their reach nationwide, aiming to empower stylists, fuel entrepreneurship, and truly honor the vital role salons and barbershops play in our communities.

How incredible Is This Business Grant?

A significant portion of the fund, $370,000 of the total $500,000 is being dedicated to 37 salon and barbershop business grants. That’s $10,000 per recipient. These grants are specifically designed to help those who have demonstrated financial hardship, giving you the resources { development tools, invaluable mentorship} directly from The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).

Imagine having that level of support to scale your dream! And here’s another win: even if you’re not among the 37 grant recipients, the top 40% of non-selected finalists will still receive extended support, including group coaching and resources for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification. It’s truly about lifting everyone up!

Are You Eligible? Key Requirements for Application:

To ensure your application shines, make sure you meet these important criteria:

• Experience Matters: You need a minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed barber, hairstylist, or cosmetologist.
• Demonstrated Need: You must be able to show proof of financial hardship.
• Business Ownership: You’ll need proof of salon or barbershop business ownership, or a valid lease agreement for a salon, suite, booth, or chair.
• Established Business: Your business must have been in operation for at least 1 year.
