FIFA is recruiting 65,000 volunteers to support the FIFA World Cup 2026™ across Canada, USA, and Mexico. This is an unpaid volunteer position requiring an 8-shift commitment during the tournament period. Volunteers will assist with various operational aspects of the world’s largest single-sport event while gaining unique experience and international connections.

How Incredible Is This Offer?

This is a volunteer (unpaid) commitment requiring significant time dedication during summer 2026. Travel, accommodation, and personal expenses are not covered by FIFA. Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation to/from venues and securing accommodation for the tournament duration. Background check requirements vary by host country.

Are You Eligible? Key Requirements for Application

Open to applicants worldwide who can legally enter their chosen host country. You may select only ONE host city from 16 available locations, and this selection cannot be changed once submitted. What You’ll Actually Do!

• You must be 18 years or older at time of application and commit to working 8 shifts between June 11-July 19, 2026 (39-day tournament period).
• English proficiency is required, with additional languages being advantageous.
• You must meet entry requirements for your chosen host country (Canada, USA, or Mexico) and successfully pass a background verification process.
• Attendance at volunteer team tryouts and completion of mandatory training programs are required.
• Support tournament operations in your assigned role across various departments including guest services, venue operations, logistics, and fan engagement.
• Work as part of an international team to deliver exceptional experiences for players, officials, media, and millions of visiting fans.
• Maintain professional standards while representing FIFA and the host cities throughout the tournament duration.
