Does Creativity Eat You Alive? The Messy Truth Behind the “Tortured Artist” Myth
Does Creativity Eat You Alive? The Messy Truth Behind the “Tortured Artist” Myth

I’ve always been a huge fan of spaces being turned into canvases. The ability to look at large walls of nothingness and bring the most imaginative expression out of those walls is an endless fascination of mine (seeing as I cannot draw to save myself, )

These mad-great artist duos, Anna Devís + Daniel Rueda have gone beyond what we usually see with wall art, and made them a living spectacle. By immersing themselves as part of the wall art they create, they show us how we are very much art ourselves.

From pizza icons, bottles, and balloons, to cultural and societal trends sculpted in genius designs like verification check, Halloween, and the location pin.
They bring so much thought to their sculptures and art, giving us a double-edged meaning of beauty and philosophical deep-thinking.

My favourite thing has got to be their collaboration with brands and you can just see how creatively they turn narratives on in-sync with the brands they choose to work with.
