To mark the International Day of the Girl Child, UNFPA commissioned Bodil Jane to illustrate the stories of five girls who are speaking out on their human rights and inspiring positive change around the world.
Bodil Jane is an illustrator from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She graduated with honors from Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, specializing in illustration. Her clients include Apartment Therapy, Unicef, The New Yorker, Marks & Spencer, ELLE, WRAP and Red Cap Cards. All of her illustrations include handmade elements and digital techniques.
