Grab your pens and strap in! The Creative Class is back for the third time running and The Assembly is calling all creatives to join the movement.

From 22nd February to 27th March 2021, entrepreneurs and new creatives across fashion, beauty, media, and tech will have an opportunity to experience 5 weeks of intense business training for new and emerging enterprises in Africa. 

The Creative Class hosted by The Assembly Hub is designed to accelerate entrepreneurs in the fashion and creative sector with the essential knowledge and tools they require to start and grow a creative enterprise. Assembly Hub - Creative Class Program for Fashion Creatives Entrepreneurs

In the last two editions of the Creative Class, we have been privileged to have an ace line up of facilitators, such as; Adenike Ogunlesi, Dr. Ndidi-Nnoli, Lanre Da Silva, Okhai Akigbe, Banke Kuku, Yoanna “pepper” Chikezie, Wale Ajiboye, Yayaha Maikori, Rukky Ladoja, Claire Idera, Bidemi Zakariyau and many more. 

One of the programme participants from the Creative Class 2.0  stated: “I have been exposed to business models, financial models and pricing. Identifying my customers and being able to distinguish them amongst the large crowd of potentials. It’s been an amazing experience”.

This year, we’re excited to host the programme virtually with Keynotes from the likes of ALÁRA’s Mrs. Reni Folwiyo, Masterclasses from Industry A-listers and Peer Clusters that will cover the following modules; Creative Enterprise Programme by Nesta |Introduction to Supply Chain Management |Building a Creative Brand |Taking Your Idea to MarketFunding Fundamentals | Marketing & PR | Finding InvestmentFashion Business Management | Business Without Boundaries.

The Creative Class has two pathways:

  1. ENTR_ is a market entry program with the aim to empower new businesses with essential knowledge and tools to develop their business infrastructure, enabling them to support their creative abilities.
  2. NXT_ is a market development program with the aim to identify and provide solutions for some of the issues that may be stifling growth in the early-mid stages of running a fashion business.

The Deadline to apply for The Creative Class program is the 24th of February 2021.
