‘a space’ arts are pleased to welcome Expressions of Interest for a new commission at our flagship venue God’s House Tower (GHT) to mark Black History Month 2022. This commission is an opportunity for an artist to delve into the fluid and ever-changing history and function of GHT and presents an expanded opportunity for an artist to explore Southampton’s Old Town heritage and its Black History.

Eligibility: In line with our work to become an anti-racist organisation, God’s House Tower is inviting responses from Black artists for this opportunity.

What you get: The selected artist will receive a £3,000 budget (Please note the budget will need to cover all the costs of the commission, including artist fees, travel and expenses. The budget must also include VAT).

Deadline 24 January 2022
