Facebook is seeking an experienced member for their Media Partnerships team. They are looking for someone to join us as a Strategic Partner Manager and collaborate closely with media organisations across News, Sport, and Entertainment across the African region. This person will build and enhance successful partnerships, influence internal and external partners, and implement strategic partnership plans with their key partners in the media industry. This job requires high levels of creativity and strategic thinking, as you’ll be called upon to help a range of media companies and personalities on Facebook’s Platform. You will be the face of Facebook to their external relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. This position will be located in London but they could also consider Dubai for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
Manage the implementation and optimisation of Facebook’s strategic partnerships.
Initiate, structure, negotiate, and maintain high impact strategic content partnerships.
Support new partners through launch process and liaise with Facebook product and technical support
Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and develop and execute against partner account plans
Become the primary point of contact for and maintain strong direct relationships with Facebook’s key partners
Proactively resolve business issues with partners
Be an internal advocate for the partners

Minimum Qualifications
Deep passion for Facebook products and social media
Deep knowledge of the media industry across the African region, with very strong contacts
5+ years experience in media industry, with focus on digital initiatives and partnerships
Proven track record of initiating and successfully driving new business opportunities
Excellent project management experience, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects on deadline
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in written and conversational English is essential Extensive experience in the media industry
Experience in the Entertainment vertical an advantage
BA/BS degree with outstanding academic performance
