Have a vision, mission and core values:
If you are looking forward to changing the world around you, then you need to have a vision and mission. You need to have a reason for what you have been created for. Think about the skills you have and the community around you and map out how your skills could work in satisfying people`s needs and helping to improve their lives.
Find a motivating community:
In this case, you need to find people, friends, colleagues, etc. Find people that have the same vision and mission or at least believe in creating something useful in the world. Get introductions, reach out to people who are making the kind of impact you admire online, don’t be afraid. By getting these kinds of people, you’ll get help in achieving a lot of dreams and goals in a short period.
Remind yourself of your life`s goals:
Sometimes, things look like they are moving slowly. So, if you get upset one a day or feel agitated because you have not been able to achieve what you want or been able to change the world, then help yourself to be motivated. Be careful not to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. Remind yourself regularly how important your dreams, core values, goals, vision, and mission are.
Review your plans and how it can be achieved.
Focus and avoid discouragement:
Its normal to find non-motivating words coming from other’s mouth around you. Don’t ever let someone tell you that you can not do something. You got a dream, you gotta to protect it. When people cannot do something themselves, they are going to tell you that you can not do it. You want something, GO GET IT.
Change your thoughts by creating a positive way of thinking:
Just believe that there is nothing called “impossible”. Imprint in your mind that if you do your best, you are going to gain the harvest. Positive affirmations are like mantras, which are very effective in changing everything around you. Just let your brain know that you have to work according to your positive thoughts and passion – doing what you love, going to help in creating a change in this world.
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” – Harriet Tubman
Take it easy and be flexible:
Some people while facing difficulties in their lives start getting stressed and lose their passion. Just try to take it easy, and always remember those who are less fortunate than you. Remind yourself from time to time about how God gifted you with an amazing talent and how you can work with it for creating the change around you.
“Our talents are the gift that God gives to us …What we make of our talents is our gift back to God.”– Leo F. Buscaglia
Share Positivity:
Stop wallowing in the fear-mongering ugliness that you find in negative things around you. Let yourself be inspired by the wonder, beauty, and compassion in the world.
Help in sharing your positive energy with people around you, whoever they are, your work`s colleagues or your family members or friends, etc. Enjoy everything around you. Get a positive energy and share it with others.
Do Not Be Silent. Take Actions:
If you stumble on or find out some issues that give you great concern, do not be silent, use your voice for gaining attention to them.
Be Determined and Focus on the Future:
If you feel one a day that you are taking one step forward and two backward, do not give up or even be upset, just focus on your future by doing your best in achieving what you are looking forward to. Do not be discouraged and please, NEVER GIVE UP.
Be a Volunteer:
Being a volunteer is considered one of the best methods for working on any country`s development. By donating your time and efforts, you are going to help in creating something different. You’ll help in improving societies, and help in improving people`s lives. Consider donating one hour per week to help others who wish to follow in your footsteps or achieve something useful in their lives! By improving others’ lives today, your life is going to be developed tomorrow… Do Not Forget, Kindness Creates Kindness!
Beat the Stress:
For achieving your goals in life, take your time to ward off stress. Be kind to yourself by identifying and mitigating habits and practices that can build stress. Think about solutions which could help you in overcoming those habits and become more comfortable. This is going to help you to make a positive impact on people around you, in your community or even society.
Always put on your shoulder that your little action is going to help in creating a change, and always remember that “The way to change the world is through individual responsibility and taking local action in your own community.” – Jeff Bridges
