Role: Junior Copywriter
Location: London HQ – we offer a mix of both office, remote and home working!
We have an incredibly exciting opportunity within our Creative Team for a Junior Copywriter here at Gousto! As a Creative at Gousto, you’ll tuck into ground-breaking brand partnerships (Wagamama? Marmite? Joe Wicks? Yes please!), mouth-watering photoshoots (may we refer you to Pasta Pronto), and red hot new recipe ranges right from the oven. We make everything look and sound Gousto, from the billboards you see at train stations to the big red box that arrives at your doorstep.
As a Junior Copywriter you will report into our Midweight Copywriter and will partner with a wider creative team of 17 including copywriters, designers, photographers and food stylists. Creating engaging copy across a variety of platforms, you will help shape the tone and look of the Gouso brand.

Core Responsibilities:
- Provide copy and ideas for campaigns, packaging, events, digital channels and corporate comms
- Collaborating with your fellow creatives (copywriters, designers, photographers), brand team members (social media, PR, brand managers)
- Supporting the copy team and Head of Creative to make sure our tone of voice is consistent and all communications are on brand
- Project managing briefs all the way through the creative process, taking input and guidance from our Copywriters and Head of Creative
- Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar to ensure it reaches the consumer error-free and lives up to the Gousto name
- Bringing a positive energy and a creative point of view to the brand community and Gousto as a whole
Who you are:
- Experience interpreting a creative brief, establishing an understanding of stakeholder requirements and business challenges, and responding to stakeholder feedback
- Experience of implementing brand guidelines and brand positioning
- Exceptional organisation, communication and presentation skills
- A natural ability to build great relationships with people from across the business
- The ability to multitask under pressure and work quickly while maintaining absolute attention to detail
