12 Women Who Show Us That Food is a Creative Venture

From eye and taste bud opening recipes to other-worldly mashups, these women have shown us time and again that food is high in creativity. We are almost certain that they are in a secret club that the rest of the world do not have access to and we sometimes wonder how they come up with recipes, what inspires them, what we can do to attain their height of imagination and perhaps pay homage to their muse. These are some of the women we’ve come to marvel at:

Atim Ukoh‘s marvellous food creations leave us salivating all the time.

Haneefah Adam‘s arty dishes that invite you to rediscover the art of your tummy.

Uzo Iquo health based recipes that dignify your body and glorify your taste bud and appetite.

Tiyan Alile and this array of deliciousness from Tiyan’s Culinary Academy.

Adaobi Okonkwo with Dobby’s Signature replenishes us with resplendent choices.

Ronke Edoho consistently waving the Naija flag in her meals and awesome recipes.

Lohi Busari creates and invents the most ravenous food types, that will torture your mind if you can’t taste it.

Dunni Obata adds a unique flair to her meals that makes you want to demand a portion for yourself.

Ozoz Sokoh is creating a new wave of food militants (like us) with her recipes and out-of-this-world meals.

If there’s an eight wonder of the world, it would be Folahan Soetan‘s ability to pull plantain stunts. Her recipes are lit!

Elsie Kriz is showcasing the African experience through the flavours, dishes of our heritage.

And Folayemi Agusto‘s amazing curating and reviewing skills, which we experience on Eat Drink Lagos.
