Girls In Film SA has teamed up with Encounters South African International Documentary Festival to bring a special GiF-curated documentary shorts film programme to the Festival this year.
Girls In Film are looking for young voices under the age of 25 to submit their short documentaries for consideration. Women, non-binary and trans individuals are encouraged to submit, with students and first-time filmmakers especially welcome as we want to expand the festival line-up to newcomers. Although preferences will be given to women, non-binary and trans filmmakers under the age of 25, we invite anyone to submit.
This submission is open to all filmmakers from the African continent or currently in the diaspora.
Submissions are free and close on 31 March 2022 at 11:59 CAT.
