Caraboo Projects are inviting proposals from artists working in any discipline for our Scratch Lab residency. The aim of Scratch Lab is to provide four artists with a focused environment to explore ideas, take risks and make connections.

Scratch Lab will bring artists together in real time and space in Bristol for one week, to develop work, potentially finding moments of overlap and harmony between ideas. We will also be selecting guest artists to visit during the week and talk to resident artists about their work.

Following 5 days of on-site working each artist will create an installation, interactive project, or performance resulting in an opening event and will be publicly viewable for 2 days. There are opps to run workshops too.

Eligibility: Open to early to mid career artists from Bristol & South West.

What you get: Participation fee of £500, production budget of £250, food stipend £50. Accommodation support if needed. Visiting artists, tech support available, marketing and public opening.

Deadline: 15 August 2021
