The Type Challenge: 36 Days Of Type

When Nina Sans and Rafa Goicoechea, graphic designers based in Barcelona, first decided to challenge themselves to design something new every day, the Type Challenge sprouted from their minds. So, in order to experiment with new things while facing their routines by setting personal daily design challenges, they came up with Typeface ideas and worked on them.
In the course of moving and growing in this idea, they started inviting people to join them in the challenge. This quickly grew on people and turned into a global exercise with loads of people getting involved.
Now it has spiraled into a 36-day celebration of type and creativity, that involves designers, illustrators, type lovers and creatives from all around the globe. Creatives from different parts of the world get involved in the yearly open call inviting designers, illustrators, and visual artists to share their view on the letters and numbers from our alphabet.

This project is a really stunning project, we absolutely love it! And we think Tatiana Astua’s interpretation rocks.
