Zamara Foundation (ZamaraFdn) is a feminist homegrown organization founded in 2016 and registered in Kenya in 2019. Zamara is anchored on radical, bold perspectives on bodily autonomy and integrity, intersectional feminist transformational leadership and a strong voice that speaks to the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young

women, girls and those that are differently challenged. Zamara Foundation focus counties are Nairobi, Kwale and Kilifi. Zamara Foundation’s core values are deeply rooted in African feminist principles.

This position provides the candidate with a great opportunity to work with adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) in Kenya and ZamaraFdn areas of focus. The person will equip AGYW with intersectional feminist leadership skills, creating safe and brave spaces that will facilitate AGYW to lead innovative social change, share informative resources and information to build the leadership capacities of AGYW and influence advocacy and policy-making processes that are geared towards the promotion of sexual health and reproductive justice of AGYW and ending child marriage.

The position will the based in Nairobi and will involve occasional travels within the two counties where the ZamaraFdn works; Kwale and Kilifi. We encourage applicants from Kwale and Kilifi counties.
