Even if you are not following the football matches chronologically, there is no way you would not have noticed that the Women’s World Cup is on and beautifully so. And in celebration of the diverse teams, there’s a daily splurge of amazing illustrations by artists from different countries, including our own Mentor, Data Oruwari and a South African fave of ours, Phathu!
Google is celebrating the 2019 Women’s World Cup with a series of doodles representing each of the competing countries and we are collating all the illustrations here!
Google says the doodles portray a distinct message about what the tournament means for each artist and their country.
