RetailNext, the worldwide market leader in smart store retail analytics, seeks a creative Graphic Designer with experience in both electronic and print media. We’re looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts, and other designs. The successful candidate should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work, especially in the retail sector, to support internal customers and partner resellers. RetailNext is a fast-paced environment, so the ideal Graphic Designer will be able to integrate into the global marketing team quickly and hit the ground running related to managing projects and deliverables. Applicants with experience in design project management experience and designing with other professionals will be given prime consideration.

Responsibilities

Work simultaneously on multiple projects based on the Marketing team’s workload.
Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media, including eBooks, product and solution briefs, web and print advertisements, sales presentations, mailers and more.
Integrate disparate elements of a design project created by teammates, including word copy, imagery, and other related assets into final deliverables.
Consult with Marketing and Sales teams, as well as the reseller partner community, to create cohesive designs that reflect RetailNext and its industry leadership position.
Collaborate with agencies, designers, technical staff and other vendors to maintain and optimize retailnext.net and inspiringretail.com web domains; measure, analyze and enhance site performance through testing, and present ways to improve website experience for visitors.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing or a related discipline.
Proven experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, specifically with mockups, multimedia presentations and web design.
Adaptive design eye and skill, and an attention to detail, including proofreading.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to professionally manage time and projects, meet deadlines and work within budgetary limits.
Capacity to absorb and apply constructive feedback from a teammate, internal customers, and partner community.
Experience working with WordPress templates.
Experience with Marketo and Unbounce is a bonus.
