Since the launching of the Fund in 2020, approximately 240 frontline non-profit organizations were supported. This has directly helped more than 1,230,000 women and girls, and more than 8,000,000 people supported in total including their families and communities who have indirectly benefitted from the activities supported by the Fund.

After 3 years of existence (2020-2023), the Fund for Women is renewed for three additional years (2023-2026) with a budget of €30 million. The goal is to keep pursuing our ambition to address the social challenges of our world, in line with the ambition of the L’Oréal for the Future sustainability program towards 2030.

Who We Are

The L’Oreal Fund for Women is a charitable fund launched in 2020 to support frontline organizations in their efforts to help women to get out of poverty, prevent domestic, sexual and gender-based violence against women.

The Fund focuses on supporting women and girls’ empowerment, particularly through projects in favor of social or professional integration and education. A specific attention is paid to refugee women and women with disabilities. In 2023, the Fund has been renewed until 2026.

The L’Oréal Fund for Women has contributed to emergency relief by providing more than €2.5 million to a dozen local and international NGOs, including the Red Cross and SINGA, as well as to UN organizations such as United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and UNICEF.

These organizations act in Ukraine and other neighboring countries in response to emergency needs, providing services such as shelter, psychological, legal and health advice, and support following sexual violence. They also fight against trafficking and help to expand access to education and employment.
