The Smithsonian National Museum African Art @smithsonian_africanart in partnership with African Artists’ Foundation presents a Masterclass Workshop on the Art of Portraiture with Ike Ude titled: ‘Taste Mystique!
Date: Friday November 5th
Time: 10am -3pm
Location: African Artists Foundation, 3b Isiola Oyekan Close, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Selection criteria: Interested candidates should submit up to 6 photographs they have taken in the past AND images of 1-3 objects that speak to them of glamour or the unexpected that can be used in a photographic composition. Examples include a beautifully arranged bowl of fruit, fabric, sculpture, or Nigerian/African terracotta ‘clay’ pots, and even animals. Think about the harmonization of items to create a great composition!
Application deadline: Submit photos to entries@lagosphotofestival.com by Friday October 29th 2021 at midnight (WAT)
Notification of selected participants: Participants will be notified via email on Monday November 1st, 2021.
