Are you a creative practitioner or artist living in, working in or from Cumbria? We need you to explore the themes of class and Covid in Cumbria as part of our Winter 2021 programming at Blackwell – the Arts & Crafts house.

In partnership with The Currell Collection, Class, Covid and Cumbria (22 October 2021–27 February 2022) brings together important work by Grayson Perry, photography by local legend Joseph Hardman, and works by community groups through the Lakeland Arts MEND project, to explore Cumbrian experiences of the pandemic. This dynamic programme of displays, events and community work will delve into the impacts of location, isolation, and class on the Cumbrian Covid experience, highlighting voices from across the county.
