Kontentt Live Limited invites young women with an interest in a career in live music business to the Women in Nigeria Live Music Business workshop in Lagos, Nigeria.
This workshop is targeted at women between the ages of 18 and 35 with no more than three years experience in the business of live music, as well as an interest in other adjacent fields to the music business. The programme will be held physically on Monday, January 31, 2022, from 11am at Radisson Hotels, Ikeja where certificates of participation will be issued to selected attendees. Only 60 participants will be chosen.

This workshop is spearheaded by the Music in Africa Live project, which is dedicated to supporting the African Music industry, by enabling musicians earning opportunities from digital live performances at a time when many of them have lost their usual income due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as to develop critical skills among professionals to enable them to navigate challenges occasioned by the pandemic, and support Music advocacy activities on the continent.

Music in Africa Live project is an initiative of the Music in Africa Foundation (MIAF), a pan African, non-profit organisation which is dedicated to supporting the African music sector via promoting knowledge exchange and creating opportunities and capacity for music professionals.
