Under the guidance of the director of digital strategy/account director create strategic social media plans to advance storytelling and drive engagement across platforms: FB, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr.
Take consumer insights, social media listening data, and turn them into meaningful, actionable, social media operating plans.
Present social media strategy to clients; design and pitch social media campaigns that integrate with other marketing communications to meet KPI’s.
Create and execute social media production budgets for campaigns.
Ensure effective distribution/amplification of content and campaigns.
Develops materials to pitch for clients, defining processes, timelines, checklists, best practices.
Monitor social media workflow and toolset to create efficiencies in both process and cost.
Lead on-site activations at events to capture content, ensuring high-quality photos, sound, and videos for posting.
Art direct photo shoots and video shoots to ensure narrative aligns with creative direction for specific social platforms.
Monitor and analyze the performance of social media activities and make recommendations for optimization accordingly.
Provide insights on emerging trends and social media developments.
Initiate and manage relationships with leading social media vendors.
Minimum 1-year experience in a social media role at a social agency or social media internship at a leading brand.
Curious, well-read, with a passion for social media content creation, working with SM influencers, and always current on SM trends and developments.
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and brainstorming skills.
Proven ability to write a strategic social plan, grounded in consumer insights, integrated with a larger brand strategy, and built to achieve specific business goals, with measurable results.
Ability to work within an entrepreneurial team that is growing quickly.
Eye for design and photography, instincts about on-brand production elements, can communicate and collaborate with a creative team.
Process oriented, able to simplify the process for a team.
Experience collaborating with a paid social media team to achieve goals in distribution, fluent in Google Analytics, AdWords, etc.
Good understanding of social media data and analytics to drive decision-making and correct course of digital campaigns.
Proficient and/or willing to learn social media distribution, monitoring, and measurement tools such as Spredfast, Sprout, Crowdtangle.
