“Drawing not only grants us a more intimate presence with the world but also extends an irresistible invitation for storytelling — that old woman in the red cloak, Ruskin argues, would be a mere passing stranger for the non-sketcher but the sketcher’s mind will envelop her in ‘an immense deal of speculation'”
– Maria Popova
Temi Danso’s drawing illustrated that quote. She is truly talented with a presence of mind in her art that makes your senses sing. She makes portraits using coloring pencils and pan pastels, making details blossom.
An undergraduate student, with a passion for Women in Engineering, studying a MEng in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Plymouth. Temi Danso shows us that we humans are capable of so much more than the polarity of sticking to one field without exploring our other leanings – allowing our soul to branch out in the different directions it finds water.
