The first thing that hits you in the face when you see Jennifer Bouron’s work is the color use and the prowess of her illustrations, the next thing that envelopes you is the soothing effect her art has on you.
In an interview with Creators Project, Jennifer mentioned that when she draws characters, she always draw them clothes that she would like to have in her wardrobe. She likes the contrast between the shy pink and the deep navy, it makes the illustration stronger.
She brings to life the mundaneness of the things we do every day, plus being alive and makes them appreciable. Your heart will thank you for discovering her work.
