For the last 6 years, CopyCamp is the place for an interesting, insightful and engaging discussion about copyrights. It is about the law, but it is not a legal conference. They’ll meet in an international, interdisciplinary group of artists, experts, scientists, and activists, exchange experience, and show that this law affects everyone. Join and share your story!

CopyCamp 2018 will take place on October 5th and 6th in Warsaw, at the National Film Archive–Audiovisual Institute).

CopyCamp invites  prospective speakers to submit presentation proposals at https://copycamp.pl/en/contact/register-speaker/ under one of the following thematic tracks:
> authors’ social security,
> the hundred anniversary of the modern Polish copyright and industrial property law and the – accompanying evolution of cultural activities regulated by these laws,
> EU copyright reform,
> blockchain perspectives,
> reuse of heritage archives.

Please submit an abstract of no more than 1800 characters by July 31, 2018.

Please note: your presentation should not exceed 10 minutes.

Open call results will be announced by mid-August

The organisers are not capable of covering expenses related with Open Call speakers’ participation in the conference.

About the conference
CopyCamp is a constantly growing, international conference. In 2017, 62 speakers from 21 countries gave 52 talks, 7 workshops were held, and a meeting with MEP Julia Reda took was organised.
