The CreativeGuild is a recently launched membership-based global directory of creative companies, professionals, and jobs. It is a labor of love by CreativeMornings.
Right now, the CreativeGuild is a Rolodex of creative companies, but we have an ambitious product roadmap ahead of us to build the LinkedIn of the creative world.
CreativeGuild is looking for an experienced product manager with a big heart, a passion for the creative community and skills to drive growth in our bootstrapped startup. This role will be part of the product team responsible for launching initiatives to increase membership, keep existing customers subscribing, sharing your vision for new growth opportunities, and spreading best practices throughout the company. It is a full-time position based in our Brooklyn office.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technology, data, be results-oriented, and can help the team through periods of ambiguity. Prior experience in computer science, prioritizing product roadmaps, optimizing features towards the user and business goals, running A/B tests, analyzing data, and working closely with engineering and design is a must. Familiarity with membership-based growth and search engineering, including the systems that power them, is a strong plus.
You’ll be working directly with the founder, Tina Roth Eisenberg, and the data science, user research, design, content, communications, and engineering team members. Some of our team members are remote, others are based in Brooklyn. All of them love to gather frequently for check-ins and ‘stand-ups’ to stay on top of the project.
The Product Manager role will span the product lifecycle, from envisioning new ways to meet business goals to organizing user research to collaborating with our data scientist, user acquisition lead, designers, and sharing engineering developments with the design-savvy team.
We really like Matt LeMay’s book, “Product Management in Practice” and believe the responsibilities and requirements below the map to his CORE skills of product management: communication, organization, research, and execution.
