SheDesigns, with Devcenter, is putting together a 6-week design challenge aimed at equipping women who are interested in Design with the skills they need by working on a real design challenge. The challenge will require at least 4 hours of your time every week.
To kick off the challenge, there’ll be a 2-day Design Thinking workshop which is compulsory for all the women who will be participating in the challenge.
The workshop will hold in Lagos:
9 AM to 5 PM on both Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23
it is compulsory for selected individuals to attend both days.
Interested people are to sign up individually and will be grouped into teams of 3 at the workshop. There are only 30 slots available for the workshop, and by extension, the challenge.
During the course of the challenge, participants are required to write weekly reports of their activities on a public platform of their choice (for example, Medium).
The challenge and workshop are aimed at women at any stage in their design career, but preference will be given to newbies with little to no experience.
